Martinsen named to All-SAC Second Team
Senior forward Sanne Martinsen was named to the 2021 Women's Soccer All-South Atlantic Conference Second Team, as announced by the league Tuesday morning.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Senior forward Sanne Martinsen was named to the 2021 Women's Soccer All-South Atlantic Conference Second Team, as announced by the league Tuesday morning.
This marks her third second team selection, fourth All-Conference selection in her career as she was an Honorable Mention in the spring of 2021.
Martinsen, a native of Skarnes, Norway, scored six of the Lions' eight goals during the fall season, including the game-winners over Erskine and Emory & Henry.
Over her career, Martinsen netted 21 of the Lions' 36 goals and she added four assists, figuring in on 25 goals. She closes out her career with 46 points.
