Lions win second straight, defeat UVA Wise
The Mars Hill men's tennis team (4-8, 2-3 SAC) defeated UVA Wise (9-6, 0-5 SAC) by a score of 4-3 Thursday afternoon.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's tennis team (4-8, 2-3 SAC) defeated UVA Wise (9-6, 0-5 SAC) by a score of 4-3 Thursday afternoon.
The Lions swept doubles play, winning all three matches to enter singles action up 1-0. Mars Hill split singles action, taking flights three, four, and six. Eliot Deknuydt and Collin Maides took their matches in three sets while Jose Roa claimed victory in straight sets.
Mars Hill returns to the courts on Friday, March 24 when they face No. 17 Anderson. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
