The Mars Hill men's tennis team (4-9, 2-4 SAC) was defeated 4-3 by No. 17 Anderson (10-1, 6-1 SAC) Friday afternoon.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's tennis team (4-9, 2-4 SAC) was defeated 4-3 by No. 17 Anderson (10-1, 6-1 SAC) Friday afternoon.
Anderson escaped doubles play with the 1-0 advantage, narrowly edging all three flights. In singles play, the teams split the flights.
The trio of Eliot Deknuydt, Jose Roa, and Marcos Martinez claimed the Mars Hill singles' flights win, winning the third, fourth, and fifth flights, respectively.
Mars Hill closes out their four-match homestand on Sunday, March 26 when they face Montevallo. First serve at the Hart Tennis Complex is set for 2 p.m.
