Mars Hill wraps up 2023 home schedule versus Saints
The Mars Hill men's tennis team (4-15, 2-9 SAC) was defeated by Limestone (9-8, 7-4 SAC) by a score of 6-1 Thursday afternoon in their final home match of 2023.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's tennis team (4-15, 2-9 SAC) was defeated by Limestone (9-8, 7-4 SAC) by a score of 6-1 Thursday afternoon in their final home match of 2023.
The Saints entered singles play up 1-0 after sweeping all three doubles matches. In singles action, Limestone won five of the six flights to clinch the win.
Jose Roa won the fourth flight in singles in three sets, picking up the lone Mars Hill win of the day.
At the end of the match, seniors Faris Hadzisadikovic and Leo Bernardes were recognized for their contributions to the team and the program over their careers.
Mars Hill closes out the 2023 season on Monday, April 17 when they face Coker at 1:30 p.m.
