Louviaux, Mills Earn ASC Academic All-Conference Honors
Seniors Rachel Louviaux and Maggie Mills were named to the Appalachian Swimming Conference Academic All-Conference team for the second consecutive year.
MARS HILL, N.C. - Seniors Rachel Louviaux and Maggie Mills were named to the Appalachian Swimming Conference Academic All-Conference team for the 2014-15 school year. It is the second consecutive year that Louviaux and Mills have both made the team. In order to qualify, a student-athlete has to hold a 3.5 GPA or better and be in their junior or senior year.
Louviaux is an Apparel and Interior Merchandising and International Relations double major with a minor in French. She has a 3.62 GPA. Louviaux was a member of the 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle Relay that finished in sixth place
Mills holds a 3.91 GPA while double majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education with specializations in reading and AIG. Mills swam a leg of the sixth place-finishing 200 Freestyle, 400 Freestyle Relay and 200 Medley Relay teams.
The women's team finished in sixth place at the ASC championship meet.
