Soccer versus Newberry postponed to October 19
Due to inclement weather conditions, both the Mars Hill men's and women's soccer games versus Newberry have been postponed to Wednesday, October 19.
NEWBERRY, S.C. - Due to inclement weather conditions, both the Mars Hill men's and women's soccer games versus Newberry have been postponed to Wednesday, October 19.
The women's contest will begin at 4:30 p.m. while the men will kickoff at 6 p.m.
The women's game will resume with 30 minutes left to play and with Newberry leading by a score of 1-0. The teams were able to complete the first half of play and only able to play 13 minutes in the second half before the game was delayed due to lightning in the area. The persistent weather forced the game to be postponed.
