Football has four named BSN Players of Week
MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill tailback Jonas Randolph, wide receiver Dimitri Holmes, defensive end Troy Harris and kick returner Anthony Lewis have been named the Beyond Sports Network (BSN) Division II Week 13 National Players of the Week. Randolph and Harris win the awards for the fourth and third time, respectively, in 2011.
Randolph rushed 38 times for 200 yards and one touchdown to go along with one catch for 21 yards and a touchdown in his final collegiate game last Saturday against North Greenville in the NCAA Division II Championship Second Round. Holmes caught seven passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns in the game to set a new single-season receiving mark for the Lions.
Harris posted 11 tackles and one sack against the Crusaders. Lewis posted 141 kickoff return yards on five attempts, with a long of 61 yards.
