Randolph named to AP Little All-America first team
NEW YORK, N.Y. - Harlon Hill Trophy finalist Jonas Randolph of Mars Hill College has been selected to The Associated Press Little All-America first team. The Little All-America team honors players from Division II, III and NAIA.
Randolph has already been named to the Daktronics All-America first team and AFCA All-America Team. He was voted the Daktronics Ron Lenz Division II, Daktronics Super Region Two and South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Year to go along with being named a Beyond Sports Network All-America Finalist.
Randolph led all NCAA divisions in rushing this year. The 5-10, 185-pound running back averaged 197.27 rushing yards per game. His 2,170 yards this season and 5,608 career yards established new South Atlantic Conference records. Randolph had six games of 200 or more rushing yards and nine games of over 100 rushing yards.
Behind Randolph, Mars Hill won a share of the SAC championship and received its first NCAA Division II Football Championship selection in program history.
