Randolph Named Lindy’s Preseason All-American
Runningback lands on preseason second team
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Jonas Randolph has been selected to the Lindy's Sports Magazine preseason All-American second team. Mars Hill opens the 2011 campaign hosting the University of Charleston (W. Va.) on September 3.
Randolph, a 5-10, 185-pound senior running back has numerous accolades associated with his career as a Lion. After the 2010 season, Randolph was named a D2football.com All-American, Honorable Mention All-American by Don Hansen and was named to the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches' All-America Team and Daktronics All-Southeast Region and All-South Atlantic Conference first teams. Randolph has led the league in rushing for two consecutive seasons. Through three seasons, he has 37 touchdowns, 3,438 rushing yards and 222 points scored, all school career records.
