SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's basketball team fell to USC Upstate by a score of 102-40 Sunday afternoon in exhibition play.
The Spartans hit over 63 percent of their shots from the floor, making 43 shots on 68 attempts. Their defense created 31 Mars Hill turnovers, 19 that resulted in steals.
Chellia Watson led all players with 30 points and added five rebounds. Naya Clamp led the Lions with 10 points followed by Zanah Boyd and Porcelain Goldsborough's eight and De'Ja Marshall's six.
