Marshall collects double-double versus Limestone

MARS HILL, N.C. – The Mars Hill women's basketball team (1-16, 1-14 SAC) was defeated 88-56 versus Limestone (10-7, 6-8 SAC) Monday night inside Chambers Gymnasium.
Limestone hit over 42 percent of their shots in the first half to carry a 44-22 lead into the second half. Both Quin Byrd and Regan McCray netted 14 points to lead all players. The Lions were led by Brianne Rosales and her six points. De'Ja Marshall led all players with eight rebounds in the first 20 minutes of play.
The Saints continued to add to their lead in the second half, outscoring the Lions 44-34. McCray added another 14 points in the half to lead the team with 28. Marshall netted 23 for the Lions in the second half and collected four rebounds to cap off the double-double.
