Back-to-back: Plougmand named SAC WePlayed Sports Offensive Player of the Week
The senior forward tied the MHU single-game record for the second time with four goals in Lions' 7-2 win over Newberry.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - For the second consecutive week, senior forward Peter Plougmand was named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Plougmand, a native of Odense, Denmark, tied the Mars Hill single-game record for the second time in his career, netting four goals versus Newberry. Mars Hill dominated the Wolves in their SAC opener, downing them by a score of 7-2.
This is the sixth time in his career he has received this honor.
Plougmand currently leads all of Division II men's soccer in goals (7) and points (15).
Mars Hill returns home on Wednesday, September 18 when they host Southern Wesleyan in the Ammons Family Athletic Center and Meares Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
