
Plougmand named SAC Offensive Player of the Week for third time
Plougmand collected nine points (4g, 1a) as the Lions went 1-1 last week.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill forward Peter Plougmand was named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season, as announced by the league Tuesday morning.
Plougmand, a senior from Odense, Denmark, brings home his third SAC Offensive Player of the Week award this season. The forward had a monster week which included four goals and an assist for nine points. In a 5-1 win over Carson-Newman, Plougmand had a hat-trick and added an assist for seven points. He added the Lions' lone goal in a tough 2-1 loss at No. 17 Wingate.
