
USC announces Scholar All-Americans
Peter Plougmand and Sam Bayly receive several United Soccer Coaches accolades.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced their All-American as well as Scholar All-American teams.
All-Region/All-American
Peter Plougmand, the senior forward from Odense, Denmark, was named a USC Second Team All-American. He was donned a First Team All-Region selection.
Sam Bayly, the senior midfielder from Lincolnshire, England, was named a USC Second Team All-Region selection. Bayly finished the year third in team scoring with five goals and four assists for 14 points.
Scholar All-American
Plougmand was named a First Team Scholar All-American, posting a 3.74 GPA in Business Administration. He was also named a CSC First Team Academic All-American.
Bayly was a Second Team Scholar All-American, holding a 3.68 GPA in Sports Management.
Both were named as Scholar All-South Region selections.
