
Mars Hill ranked No. 12 in Super-Region 2 Regional Rankings
Mars Hill wrapped up the 2024 season with a 9-2-4 record.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Mars Hill men's soccer team was ranked No. 12 in the NCAA Super-Region 2 Regional Rankings, as announced Wednesday evening.
Mars Hill wrapped up the regular season with a 9-2-4 overall record, finishing fourth in the South Atlantic Conference. They are one of four SAC schools in the the Southeast Regional rankings, with Coker taking the top spot.
The Lions went undefeated inside Meares Stadium (5-0-3) and with their finish in the league, will host a SAC Quarterfinal game against Lincoln Memorial, the No. 5 seed, on Saturday, November 9 at 7:30 p.m.

Peter Plougmand, who leads the nation in points per game (3.29) and is third in the country in goals (20) and points (46) leads the Lions into their fourth SAC tournament appearance in the last five years and their first home tournament game since 2014, where the Lions defeated Lincoln Memorial by a score of 1-0.
