Grant named SAC WePlayed Sports Defensive Player of the Week
Grant averaged 1.27 blocks per set in the Lions' three wins last week.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Sophomore middle blocker Katilyn Grant was named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league Monday afternoon.
Grant, a native of Alabaster, Ala., led the Lions to a 3-0 week with wins over Georgia College and back-to-back wins over Catawba. Grant finished the week with 14 total blocks, 1.27 blocks per set. She had four total blocks against Georgia College and then five in each win over the Catawba Indians.
