Three Lions named to CSC Academic All-District Team
Laela Jimenez advances to national ballot.
MARS HILL, N.C. - Three Mars Hill volleyball players have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
Laela Jimenez adds to her already impressive list of postseason awards. The junior libero from Naples, Florida has a 4.0 in nursing and advanced to the national ballot with the opportunity to be voted an All-American.
Timmons Yates, the senior right-side from Anderson, South Carolina, along with Mackenzie Schmucker, the junior setter from Myakka City, Florida were also named to the All-District Team. Yates holds a 3.86 in nursing while Schmucker posts a 3.97 in biology/biomed.
